Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The Bloc Development Officer (DDO) of the local Panchayat Samiti in Kannad, Chandrahar Dhokane, has been diagnosed with dengue and has taken medical leave. As a result, on April 16, Ratnakar Pagar, the BDO of Sillod, was charged with his position.

Dhokane used to commute daily from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Kannad. On April 9, it was confirmed that he had contracted dengue, and since then, he has been on leave. Realising that Dhokane is unlikely to resume duties soon, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zilla Parishad, Ankit Pannu, assigned Dhokane’s responsibilities to Ratnakar Pagar on April 16. Accordingly, Pagar officially took charge on Wednesday, in the presence of staff members.
