Aurangabad, July 6:

‘Lokmat Raktacha Nata,’ an initiative launched to celebrate the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and founder editor of Lokmat Group of Newspapers Jawaharlal Darda alias Babuji is getting good response in the district.

Under the initiative, the blood donation camps which were held at Ghosla in Vaijapur tehsil and Shivur in Vaijapur tehsil on Tuesday, drew a good response from youths.

A total of 24 persons donated blood in the camp organised at Sant Bahinabai Vidyalaya of Shivur. J K Jadhav inaugurated the camp. Dr Mohammed Arbaaz from Adarsh Blood Bank, Dr Ilyas Patel, Rama Dongre, Dabhade, Mohammed Bhai, Shubham Mene, Shaikh Ilyas, Sushil Deshmukh, district president of Gorsena Ravi Jadhav worked assisted for the camp.
