Aurangabad, March 3: Madhuri Patil from Aurangabad won the Mrs Pune Pageant recently held in Pune. Beauties from all over Maharashtra participated. Last month, she had bagged runner-up title at Mrs India Opera Global.
Mrs Pune competition was organized to raise funds for food and shelter for stray dogs. Madhuri became the winner from among 30 finalists on the strength of her excellent introductory skills and quick answers. Pinky Tilokchandani was the organizer. Mumbai-based Vaishali Satra worked as a makeup artist. Sangeet Alashi and Mrs Maharashtra Purva Burai were examiners.
The jury asked what would you sacrifice after you win this pageant and how would you do justice with the title? Madhuri said, “Success does not come with comfort. I will have to sacrifice comfort, inhibitions and obstacles of mind. This title will bring lots of responsibility.
