Aurangabad, June 11:

A 35 years old man committed suicide by jumping into a well at Nandeda Shivar in the Waluj Mahanagar area on Friday at around 9.30 am. The deceased has been identified as Vilas Asaram Thorat (Asegaon). The reason of the suicide was not known yet.

A farmer Devidas Kisan Mate has a farm and well at Nandeda Shivar in Gut No. 74. On Friday morning, a body of a man was seen floating in the well. The residents informed the Waluj MIDC police about it. PSI Rahul Nirval and others rushed to the spot. The fire brigade officers D D Salunke, Mohan Mungse, Laxman Kolhle, Shaikh Sameer Sangram More, and others removed the body from the well.

During the investigation, it was found that the man was Vilas Asaram Thorat (35, Aasegaon, Gangapur). he was taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where the doctors declared him dead after the examination. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station.
