Aurangabad, June 7:

The Waluj MIDC police arrested a 22 years old man for abducting and raping a minor girl at Waluj Mahanagar area. The arrested has been identified as Somesh Bhikulal Munge (22, Teesgaon).

Somesh lured a 15 years old girl from Waluj Mahangar. On Friday, the girl was missing since 11 am. Her relatives searched her everywhere but could not find her. Hence, a complaint was lodged at the Waluj MIDC police station. On Sunday, the girl was spotted near the Cidco, Waluj Mahangar garden in a frightened condition. The nearby residents informed about it to the police. The police took her to the police station and called her parents. She told the police that Somesh and she had developed cordial relations. On Friday, she went to meet him but he took her on his motorcycle and raped her in the mountains of Teesgaon area. Later, he took her to his home at Teesgaon. When, his family members inquired about her, he told that she is her friend and he brought her at home as there is no on in her house. He later took her to the Waluj Mahanagar garden and left her there. The police took the girl to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and conducted her medical test. The accused Somesh Mungse was arrested on Sunday evening. The court remanded him in the police custody till Thursday. Under the guidance of PI Madhukar Sawant, PSI Sachin Pagote is further investigating the case.
