Aurangabad, March 11:
A man sexually exploited a woman on pretext of resolving a dispute between her and her husband, who sent her a divorce notice. A case of rape has been registered on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim at the Mukundwadi police station. The police have arrested the accused Datta Manik Chalak (35, Rajnagar, Mukundwadi).
The victim had a dispute with her husband, and then she had gone to her parents. Her husband sent her a divorce notice. On October 4, 2020, the accused went to her home and told her that he will resolve the dispute between her and her husband and brought her to Aurangabad. He kept her in a room here. He took her to various places and sexually exploited her on several occasions. Later, he showed his inability to look after her. Hence, the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the Mukundwadi police station. PSI Amol Mhaske immediately arrested Chalak. The court remanded him in the police custody for four days.
