Man stabbed over friendship with girl

A youth from Patoda was severely injured when a goon from Jalna stabbed him near Khalsa Dhaba on Beed By-pass road on Thursday at around 10.15 pm over a dispute of friendship with a girl. The injured has been identified as Kishor Annasaheb Pere (30, Patoda) and is struggling for life at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital.

Kishor is working as a driver on a goods vehicle at Waluj MIDC area. He is having friendship with a girl from Jalna for the past many days. The girl works as a marketing executive and stays with her brother at Bajajnagar. However, one of the friends of the girl from Jalna was dissatisfied over her friendship with Kishor. On Thursday, her friend came to Beed By-pass to meet her. When Kishor came to know about it, he also went there at around 10 pm on his motorcycle. All the three met near Khalsa Dhaba on Beed By-pass road. Kishor and the friend of the girl quarreled over the friendship with the girl. The man stabbed Kishor in the stomach. The man and the girl then fled away from the scene.

Meanwhile, the nearby residents took the injured Kishor to the Vedantnagar police station from which he was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The Satara police were also informed as the incident occurred in their jurisdiction. Later, he was shifted to Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital. A case has been registered on the complaint lodged by Kishor’s brother Yogesh Pere. The police are investigating the case under the guidance of PI, Surendra Malale.
