Aurangabad, May 13:

A hardcore gun threatening a mango trader with a sword who has taken the contract of the mango trees at Himayat Baug and stealing the mangoes was arrested by the crime branch police. The arrested has been identified as Praveen Madhukar Solas (27, Bhimrajnagar, Himayatbaug).

Complainant Vinod Jyotish Kundar has taken a contract of the mango trees at Himayatbaug. On May 10, he was selling mangoes at Himayatbaug in the evening at around 6 pm. Accused Solas came there with a sword and took away mangoes threatening Kundar. A case was lodged at the Begumpura police station on May 12.

Crime branch team including PSI Yogesh Dhonde, constable Syed Mujeeb Ali, Gajajnan Mante, Milind Bhandare, Bhavsingh Chavan, Rahul Kharat and Sunil Mote arrested accused from his home on Wednesday night. He has been handed over to the Begumpura police station for further action.
