MGM University starts admission process for 160 new courses

Aurangabad, June 16:

Vice-Chancellor of MGM University Prof Dr Vikas Sapkal said that in view of accommodating quality education and an excellent academic environment for the aspiring student, the university launched 160 new courses or the academic session 2021-22.

The admission process for the courses has already started.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Prof Dr Vikas Sapkal the University had started novel interdisciplinary programs like BBA FinTech, a three year UG program that combines Engineering, Commerce and Management.

Dr Ashish Gadekar (registrar), Col Pradeep Kumar (chief executive officer) and deans of all Faculties were present at the briefing.

“There are many opportunities available in the field of scientific study and research in this regard.

Considering the importance of viral studies, and research in the post-Covid situation, an M.Sc Microbiology and Virology and M.Sc Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering were started.

The University also offers courses like B Tech in Data Science, Electrical Vehicles, Mechatronics, Industry 4.0, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking, PG diploma course in Creative Communication, Advertising and Public Relations.

The online registration process for the admissions has already commenced. The common entrance test (CET) for undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be conducted on June 22 and 23 while for Engineering and Technology, it is on July 8, 9 and 10. Dr Rekha Shelke and Vivek Rathod were also present.
