Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) felicitated MP Bhagwat Karad recently. Karad took the information about the industrialists'' problems and the region and assured them to resolve them.
Karad visited the CMIA office on Monday. The officials submitted a memorandum of demands related primarily to CEPI Score, railways and small and medium industries.
President, Kamlesh Dhoot informed that the CEPI score of Aurangabad is 69.85 due to which the new industries are not getting permission. This has hampered the development of the city. Vice president Shivprasad Jaju informed about the discussion held with environment minister Prakash Jawadekar and senior scientist Dr Ranganath on CEPI Score. The industrialists demanded recalculation of the score.
Secretary Satish Lonikar, Pritesh Chaterjee and others were present. Satish Lonikar conducted the proceedings of the functions and proposed a vote of thanks.
