Aurangabad, May 31:

Senior IAS officer Dr Naresh Gite retired from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) after a prolonged service of 38 years on Monday. He was presently working as the joint managing director at the Aurangabad regional office. He was bade adieu in a ceremony on Monday. MSEDCL president and managing director Vijay Singhal praised the work done to recover the outstanding dues. Directors Sanjay Taksande, Bhalchandra Khandaeit, Satish Chavan, Ravindra Sawant, chief engineer Bhujang Khandare, Dattatray Padalkar, Ravindra Kolap and others were present. MSEDCL also felicitated Mrs Jayashri Gite.

Dr Gite started his administrative career as the deputy chief executive officer of the zilla parishad (ZP) in 1983. Later, he also worked as district collector, ZP CEO, municipal commissioner at various parts in the state.
