Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Department of Management Science and Computer Science (BCA-BCS) of Maulana Azad College organised the first-ever district-level Cyber Security CTF (Capture The Flag) Hackathon Competition 2025 of Marathwada, recently.

Students from two universities, five engineering colleges and 13-degree colleges across the region participated in the competition and showcased their technical expertise.

Dean of MIT College Dr. Sayyad Ajij inaugurated the event. Dr Mazahar Farooqui, who chaired the session, stressed the urgent need for cybersecurity awareness and encouraged students to become cybersecurity ambassadors to help combat cyber crimes in the country.

Dr Syed Hussain (dean, Hi-Tech Engineering College), Vice Principal Dr Arif Pathan, industry expert Imran Khatib (founder, Nexsecura Services) and Dr Syed Abeduddin also spoke.

The names of the winners of the competition are as follows;

--First Prize: Akshay Kondke (MIT College)

--Second Prize: Sumit Unale (Shivaji College)

--Third Prize (Joint Winners): Razia Sultana (Dr.Rafiq Zakaria College for Women) and Fardeen Khan (Radhai College).
