Aurangabad, May 7:

NCP leader has submitted a memorandum to the sub-divisional officer (SDO) demanding action against the EGS minister Sandeepan Bhumre for violating the prohibitory orders imposed in the wake of Coronavirus in the district. NCP contact chief Datta Gorde stated that the minister had inaugurated various EGS works in Paithan tehsil's Devgaon village in presence of a large number of party activists and villagers on May 5.

The minister also addressed a gathering to mark the inauguration. The minister's son and Zilla Parishad member Vilas Bhumre, Chittegaon's ZP member Akshay Jaybhaye, Devgaon sarpanch Ramlal Kothadi, deputy sarpanch Balasaheb Gite, Panchayat Samiti member Sopan Thore, Bhaskar Gite, Bhagwan Dhage, Pandharinath Gite, Deepak Dhakane, Amol Gite, and many others along with gram rojgar sevak Madan Bondre, Shiv Sena activists, and villagers were present at the inaugural programmes in large number.

Hence the action should be taken against the minister for violating the orders prohibiting the gatherings, social distancing norms, etc. Meanwhile, all eyes are fixed on what action the administration would be taking against the minister?

Terror of Covid in tehsil

The Coronavirus has terrorised the people from the tehsil. In the minister's village, more than 200 Covid-19 patients have been detected, while 10 persons had died of the infection in the Pachod vicinity. Moreover, from Bhumre's constituency, 1,750 Covid patients had been reported and 60 patients had died, so far.
