Aurangabad, Feb 6:

The women's wing of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Saturday staged an agitation at Kranti Chowk to protest against the hike in fuel and gas prices.

The women made two stoves and made chapatis. The women shouted slogans against the central government. District president Chhaya Jangle Patil, city president Meraj Patel, national secretary Veena Khare, Pratibha Vaidya, Vaishali Patil, Prajakta Patil, Salma Bano, Manjusha Pawar, Vidya More, Anisa Begum, Shama Parvez, Kavita Holkar and others participated in this agitation. The women office-bearers demanded that the Modi government should stop the price hike, otherwise people will take to the streets.
