Number of copy cases rose to 216 in division

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A total of 35 students were caught while doing malpractice during the HSC and SSC examinations being within the jurisdiction of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Saturday.

With this, the total number of copycats in both examinations reached 216.

It may be noted that HSC examinations started on February 11 and will end on March 18 while SSC examinations commenced on February 21 and will end on March 17.

The Divisional office of the State Board, Revenue and Education Departments set up flying squads to monitor the examination in the five districts of the division.

A total of 17 candidates were caught in the HSC examination today, taking its total figure to 198.

With four fresh cases today, the total number of students caught in the SSC examination reached 18.
