Aurangabad, July 15:

The health administration witnessed an overwhelming response from the villagers for vaccination at its different centres in the Waluj Mahanagar sector. The citizens waited in long queues to obtain tokens in vaccination centres at Bajajnagar and Pandharpur.

The citizens expressed their displeasure as the shortage of vaccines has forced them to face severe inconvenience and stand in long queues. To avoid the rush of people, the health administration, introduced a token system at its vaccination centre in Bajajnagar. The aspirants started forming long queues in front of zilla parishad school (in Bajajnagar) today from 5 am. The senior citizens were compelled to stand for hours in the long queue. " The centre has distributed 600 tokens today. To avoid the rush, we have planned to administer 100 vaccines daily and it will continue for six consecutive days," said the medical officer Dr Sangram Bamne.

Bajaj Group has arranged free vaccination at Shri Vithal-Rukmini Mandir in Pandharpur. The people were seen standing in the long queue since early morning in front of this centre. The incidents of verbal arguments were witnessed amongst people standing in the queue during the whole day. The Jankidevi Bajaj Gramin Vikas Sanstha's Anita Deshmukh and Suvarna Ingle informed that 300 persons were vaccinated at this centre in Pandharpur today.
