Aurangabad, June 17:

Divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar on Thursday praised the oxygen tanker drivers for saving lives of thousands of patients during covid crisis. In a felicitation ceremony organised for the tanker drivers Kendrekar said that the tanker drivers worked round the clock to reach the destination on time. They all became angels for the corona patients.

Collector Sunil Chavan, municipal administrator Astik Kumar Pandey, additional commissioner Avinash Pathak, additional collector Dr Anant Gavhane, deputy commissioner Parag Soman, joint commissioner of food and drug administration Sanjay Kale, deputy commissioner Veena Supekar, deputy commissioners Shivaji Shinde, Jagdish Maniar, deputy collector Rita Maitrewar, Sangeeta Sanap were present on this occasion. Responding to the felicitation, oxygen tanker driver Raju Jogdand said, "We are overwhelmed after being honoured by the administration. We worked hard to save the lives of patients. We are satisfied that our services were valued. Drivers Dinesh Chinchne, Ram Khatle, MadhavGawai, Deepak Gorde, Rishi Vani, Vishnu Bahir, Dnyaneshwar Nikalje,Deepak Aldat, Syed Nisar were felicitated.
