Planning for transfers at police commissionerate begins
Aurangabad, May 15:
The planning of the transfers of the police officers and
employees completing five years in various departments has started. The
transfers were delayed for one month due to Covid pandemic. Now, the
administration has started the procedure for the transfers. Presently, there
are 3,400 police force including 494 women employees.
There are 17 police stations in the jurisdiction of police
commissionerate. The constables to ASIs completing five years service are
transferred. Every year, 30 percent employees are transferred. The police
employees can also request for their transfers. Every year, the transfers are
done before May 31. However, the transferred employees were not given their new
responsibilities despite transfers due to Covid pandemic. Moreover, the state government
has given stay to all type of transfers for a month. The administration has
directed all the heads of the police stations, crime branch, special branch,
head quarters, bomb disposal squad and passport branch to provide lists of the
police employees eligible for transfers before May 17, the sources said.
