The complaints about the dearer
prices of the chemical fertilizers from the farmers have increased. The state
and union governments are planning to resolve this issue through negotiation.
If the prices of the fertilizers are not reduced, the state government is
planning to give subsidy with the help of the union government to the fertilizer
manufacturing companies in the state, informed industry minister and guardian
minister Subhash Desai in a press conference here on Monday.
The review meeting for the Kharif
season and Corona pandemic control was held in the presence of Desai today.
After the meeting, briefed the press that the area under cultivation of cotton
and maize has increased. Hence, the seed companies have been directed to
provide ample stock of seeds to the farmers. Traders have been directed to sell
the old fertilizer on the printed prices. Strict action will be taken if new
fertilizer is sold on new rates. A meeting will he held with the energy minister
soon to discuss about the electricity connection for agriculture pumps.
The Corona patients are reducing
while all measures are being implemented gain complete control over the
pandemic. There is a possibility of the third Corona wave and preparations are
being done in this regard. The vaccination will be increased if the supply is
increased. Strict audit of the private hospitals will be done, Desai said.
Around 185 ventilators received form
PM Care funds are defunct. The government will take strict action against it. Presently,
546 ventilators are working and the issue of PM Care Fund ventilators is pending,
he said.
The Government Medical College has
designed a management certificate court which will be helpful for providing
training in controlling Covid in a professional manner. The further action in
this regard will be taken after the permission received from the Health
Sciences University. The police department will be provided 12 four wheelers
and 74 two-wheelers.
Vaccine purchase at the municipal
corporation level is done at Mumbai on experimental basis. The other
corporations will be given the rights in this regard after considering the
response to the tenders to this experiment, the guardian minister clarified.
The speed of establishing industries in Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DCIC)
is less. Decisions could not be taken last year due to Corona pandemic and now
it will be facilitated. The investments in food park and other industries have
stopped due to the lockdown presently. Oxygen plants will be established at
Aurangabad and Jalna, Desai added.
