Provisional selection for 2nd round of medical released

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) has released the provisional selection list for the second Centralised Admission Process (CAP)-round for MBBS-BDS.

The last date for joining the respective college is October 6. The last date to fill the ‘Status Retention form at college is October 6.

The admitting institute will verify the original documents and ascertain the eligibility of the candidates as per the NEET(UG)-2024 brochure. The candidate should submit all the original documents and pay requisite fees in the selected college within the stipulated time, failing which this selection stands cancelled.

Selection has over 30 K candidates

The selection list has names of 30,000 for this second round. This seat allotment is conducted on the seats of colleges which are affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Science (MUHS).

Some pvt unaided college stops admission

Some private medical and dental colleges have stopped the admission process for candidates selected through the second CAP round. The office of SCETC received complaints from candidates about the admission process stopping in some private medical and dental colleges for CAP-round II.

Issuing instructions to these colleges through a notice, the cell stated it conducted the admission process as the colleges wilfully decided to participate in the CAP process by receiving affiliation from MUHS.

The Cell said all the colleges should complete the admission process of all the allotted candidates as per the schedule, failing which, action would be taken as per the norms.
