Deep affection for rural life lost

Dr. Ranganath Pathare, Veteran Literateur – His place is marked by his deep affection for rural society, and his profound understanding of their way of life. This is his greatest contribution to Marathi literature. His writings can be called unique. His deep loyalty and faith in both literature and society were the most important elements of his writing. An exceptionally noble, sensitive, and distinguished literary figure has been lost to us.
