Aurangabad, May 27:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has started the recruitment process for the three posts of statutory officers and one post of the dean. The university 15 posts of statutory officers as per the new Maharashtra Public Universities Act.

Bamu filled nine posts, while six are vacant. They are directors of Students Development, National Service Scheme (NSS), Innovation, Incubation and Linkages (IIL) Department, Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) and Lifelong Learning and Extension Services (LLES) Department and Dean of Faculty of Humanities.

The post of NSS director is vacant since 2010, the director of Students Development post lying vacant since 2017 and the director of LLES since 2016, director of IIL for the past four years. The post of dean fell vacant six to seven months ago.

The State Government gave approval for filling the vacant post one month ago. Of them, the post of director of Students Development and NSS will be filled through nomination while the remaining four posts have a selection process.

The university started the recruitment process for the posts of directors of IIL and LLES Departments and the dean of the Faculty of Humanities. The last date of submitting the online application form is June 14 while for hard copy submission, it is June 22. The date of applying for HRDC director was over and the hard copy submission date is June 7.
