Residents have heaved a sigh of relief as the Corona outburst since March has shown a decline from September end. As a result, the doubling rate of patients has increased in the city.

The Corona patients were on the rise since March, which has shown a decline from September end. The patients in need of oxygen and ventilators are reducing rapidly while it is expected that the mortality rate due to Covid-19 will also decrease soon.

The first Corona patient was found in the city on March 15. Every day, patients between 200 and 400 were increasing. However, the daily rise in the city declined between 100 and 150 now. However, the people are confused whether the patients have decreased or the patients are not reported as the Corona tests have declined. However, the health machinery have claimed that the tests have not decreased. On September 25, around 6,000 patients were being treated which has now reduced to around 3300 on October 10, the administration informed.
