School trustee & HM harasses boy

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The school trustee, his wife, its headmaster and a teacher beat up the student. The boy had gone to commit suicide after being abused in caste in front of everyone. The parents convinced him and brought him home.

The accused then abused the parents who had gone to the school to seek answers for beat him up. The incident took place between March 13 and April 4 at Angel Kids International School, Satara premises. A case was registered at Satara police station in this case.

The accused included the head of the school education society Tukaram Dadarao Munde, Asha Tukaram Munde, headmaster Jassi Jaiswal, sports teacher Praveen Wagh and one other accused.

According to details, the 38-year-old complainant is from Beed Bypass. His son Satish (fictitious name) is studying in class 8 at Angel Kids International School in the Satara area.

Satish went to the school on March 13 to play colour. That day, the trustee of the school Dadarao Munde called Satish's father in the school. He told the complainant that his son had put colour on the girls.

When Satish was asked at that time, he denied it, yet, the complainant apologised to the school. Satish left the house in the afternoon without telling anyone. His father found him in the Deolai area and brought him home.

The boy told his father that he had not done anything, and despite this, Munde and Wagh beat him up in front of everyone.

“Headmaster Jassi also humiliated me by saying that I was not good enough to study in the school. I had thought of committing suicide due to everyone's harassment,” the boy said.

The school bus driver stopped Satish from getting into the bus on April 4. The driver informed the boy that the school trustee Mund had told him not to let him (the student) come to school.

The complainant went to the school with his wife to ask for an answer. There, Munde and Jaiswal abused them in a casteist manner, calling them both lower castes.

They threatened the complainant that they would not allow their child to get admission to any school. The accused, including Munde, started beating Satish's parents severely when they were going outside the school. In the complaint, it was stated that the accused abused him and threatened to kill him.

The complainant went to the Satara Police Station with his wife. The Munde couple, Wagh and an unknown person who beat him up also came there. Asha Munde threatened the complainant's wife by saying that she is from a low caste and her child does not deserve to study in their institution. A case was registered at the Satara police station on Saturday. ACP Ranjit Patil is conducting a further investigation.
