Showroom manager booked in Rs 11.16 lakh scam case

Aurangabad, May 26:

A manager of a two-wheeler showroom has been booked

for the misappropriation of Rs 11,16,745. A case has been registered against

the manager Sohanlal Premraj Chavan (65, Satara area) at the Satara police

station.

According to the details, complainant Sumit Dilip

Soni has a two-wheeler showroom on Beed By-pass road. Chavan is the manager of

the showroom since 2017 and he collects all amount deposited here. Last year,

Soni conducted an audit of the showroom and found misappropriation of Rs

11,16,746. The audit was conducted in the presence of Chavan and hence Soni

asked him about the money but he was not able to answer. Hence, the audit was

conducted again and it was found that Chavan has misappropriated the amount.

Soni lodged a complaint at the Satara police staton on May 25 while PSI Vikram

Vadne is further investigating the case.
