A schoolgirl in Ghanegaon was harassed, marking the second incident in 15 days. Parents refused to file complaints.

Zilla Parishad School schoolgirl in Ghanegaon was harassed for the second time in 15 days, with parents refusing to file complaints due to fear of defamation. The incidents occurred outside Zilla Parishad School, with a young man harassing a girl both 15 days ago and just four days ago when he also tried to forcefully put her on his motorcycle. The girl screamed, and the harasser fled towards Narayanpurwadi via Sangharshnagar when citizens intervened. Discussions in the village WhatsApp group brought the issue to light. PI Krishna Shinde mentioned in a conversation with Lokmat that parents should come forward without fear to file complaints.

Incidents happened outside school; parents didn't file complaints, halting police action. -----(Sunil Joshi, Headmaster)
