Aurangabad, April 15: Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF), Aurangabad recently organised a talk by Dr Rashmi Borikar on “Why is it important to take Covid vaccine.” To take or not to take the vaccine...this question has been asked multiple times and many theories have been derived. The talk aimed at explaining the issue in details.
It was an eye opener as all relevant points regarding the vaccine, symptoms and how to take correct precautions were explained to the Shalinis. They were also briefed about the safety of the vaccine and how it boosts the immune system. “Local side effects like pain, swelling, having fever is normal, nothing to be worried as it has invoked the immune response of the body,” Dr Rashmi eased the minds of the girls. It was an extremely knowledgeable and fruitful session attended by 90 Shalinis with their parents and USF team members.
