Aurangabad, Jan 23:

A teacher going on a two-wheeler died on the spot after his two-wheeler dashed to a tractor from back on Aurangabad – Solapur national highway near Dabhrul Shivar on Saturday at around 8 pm. The deceased teacher has been identified as Satyakumar Devendra Upadhye (50, Kasarwadi, Ambad, presently residing at Shivajinagar Aurangabad).

Upadhye had gone to his native village Kasarwadi on Saturday afternoon. He was returning to the city in the evening on his motorcycle (MH20 LX 1941). His motorcycle dashed to a tractor (MH 20 A S 9974) laden with sugarcane from behind near Dabhrul Shivar on Aurangabad – Solapur national highway. Upadhye died on the spot in the accident. He was a teacher at Shrimati Dhannabai Deepchand Gangwal Technical School at Kachner and is survived by wife, son and daughter. After receiving the information, his relatives and family members rushed to the Adul primary health centre where he was kept. A case has been registered at the Pachod police station.
