More than 290 criminals are out of the jail in the city and the surrounding areas due to the Corona outburst and getting bail from the court. After getting out of jail, the criminals became active in criminal activities while vehicle thefts and housebreaking incidents are rising in the city.

Around 10 motorcycles are reported stolen daily from various parts of the city. Similarly, the incidents of thefts, housebreaking, chain snatching, stealing valuables from open houses, mobile phone snatching, cheating and others are on the rise. Murder, fights and threatening incidents have also been reported in the past few days.

The government to avert Corona''s spread in the jail released hardcore criminals sentenced for murder, rape, and other crimes. Similarly, the court granted bails to some criminals. More than 290 criminals are out of jail now. The police have increased patrols on the city roads and launched combing operations to restrict criminal activities.
