Aurangabad, April 10:

With the government implementing restrictions under the break the chain campaign, some businesses have come up with home delivery service for customers. The service is also facilitating the customers and the traders are getting business.

Many businesses were shut with the exception of a handful of essentials services under break the chain. Keeping shops closed for several days is unaffordable to small businesses. Hence traders have come up with new business tactics. Many traders have started delivering goods and services directly to their customer's doorstep. Many businesses like laundry, beauty parlour, salon, stationery, DTP and xerox, tailoring, florist have started home services. This is benefiting many consumers. Realizing that their business would be shut for several days, many traders immediately took to social media and sent a message to their regular customers that home delivery would be available. The new method of business is now gaining momentum.

No crowd at the shop

We can no longer afford to close our business. The question before us is how to survive if the business is closed. So we are doing business within the rules, only its nature has changed. We do not open the shop as per the rules of the government, we only deliver products and services to the customer's doorstep. This new method eliminates the risk of infection as the shops are not crowded, say traders.
