Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Jayanti will be celebrated on April 14 with large gatherings from 10 am to 12 pm midnight. Processions and tribute programs will be held at various locations across the city. The main procession will start from Kranti Chowk, passing through Paithan Gate, Gulmandi, City Chowk, and Main Post Office, and will conclude at Bhadkal Gate. Additional processions are also planned in the Cidco area. To ensure safety and prevent traffic congestion, the traffic police have enforced road closures. Only essential services like police, ambulances, and fire services will be allowed on the blocked routes. Vehicles participating in the processions will be exceptions.

Roads closed for traffic from 10 am to 12 midnight. These include Mahavir Chowk to Amarpreet Chowk, Gopal T, Kranti Chowk, Sillekhana, Paithan Gate, Gulmandi, City Chowk, Main Post Office, and Bhadkal Gate. Additionally, Shahganj, Gandhi Statue, Sarafa, and City Chowk will also be affected, along with the stretch from Aurangpura Police Chowki to Barabhai Tajia and from Milk Corner to City Club. Alternative Route

For those traveling from Jalgaon, the alternative route will be Harsul T-Junction, Jalgaon T-Junction, Jalna Road, Amarpreet Chowk, Dargah Chowk, Godavari T, Mahanubhava Ashram, Railway Station, and Mahavir Chowk. Vehicles coming from Jalgaon T and Jalna will follow Amarpreet Chowk, Dargah Chowk, Shahanurwadi, Bhajiwalibai Statue, Gade Chowk, Devgiri College, WITS Hotel, and Konkanwadi. Other routes include Satish Motors, Savarkar Chowk, Nirala Bazar, and Aurangpura, while vehicles can also opt for the Chelipura, Kamakshi Lodge, and Municipal Corporation Office route.
