Transport company manager dupes owner of jewellery and cash

Aurangabad, June 26:

A transport company manager duped his owner of 14 tolas of Gold jewellery, silver ornaments, and Rs 1 lakh cash given to him to keep it safe. A case against the manager and his friend has been registered at the Jinsi police station. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Azharoddin Khan Muzaffaroddin Khan (32, Khas Gate) and Shaikh Nazim Shaikh Alim (24, Padegaon). PI Vyankatesh Kendre said, Mohammad Azharoddin is the manager in a transport company owned by Razzaq Khan (Sanjaynagar) for the past seven years. As the handle of the safe of the locker at Razzaq’s house was broken, he kept Rs 1 lakh cash, 14 tolas of Gold jewellery and silver organments in the cupboard at Azharoddin’s house and kept the keys with him after locking the cupboard, six months back. Meanwhile, Azhoruddin, on June 24 informed Razzaq and his wife that the thieves broke the cupboard and stole the valuables. Razzaq got suspicious and lodged a complaint against Azhoroddin and his friend Shaikh Nazim of duping of his valuables. The police on Saturday called both the suspects for inquiry. They will be arrested after the evidence is collected, informed the police sources.
