Truck with duplicate registration number seized

Aurangabad, Jan 7:

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) seized a truck with a duplicate registration number.

As per details, the RTO took the action against a overloaded truck and issued a memo to this truck. Later in July, the flying squad initiated a drive against the overloaded trucks in July, 2020 and issued a memo to the truck owner. The owner came to know that there is another truck with the same registration number of his truck. Hence, he kept a watch on the trucks and found a truck with the similar registration number. He handed over the truck to the Satara police. The RTO has seized the truck with the duplicate registration number. A case has been registered in this regard at the Satara police station.
