Aurangabad, June 13:

A farmer committed suicide by hanging himself due to financial difficulties. The deceased farmer has been identified as Ramesh Ambadas Pophale (40, Hiwara, teh Aurangabad). In another incident, Pandharinath Sukdev Shinde (26, Mangrul) committed suicide by hanging himself in his field on Friday evening.

According to police, Ramesh had 1.5 acres of farm land. Ramesh was under tension due to financial difficulties. Hence he hanged himself to a tree in his field. The incident took place around 5 am on Sunday. Ramesh is survived by his mother, father, 2 brothers, wife, 3 daughters and a son. A case of accidental death was reported at Karmad police station. In the second incident, a farmer Pandharinath Shinde committed suicide as he was unable to pay bank loan on Friday evening. His mother had borrowed a loan of 3.25 lakh from a bank. However, the bank officials were pursuing him for paying the loan amount. He was rushed to government hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. A case of accidental death has been registered at Karmad police station.
