Aurangabad, Oct 19: Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) Aurangabad held a series of workshops pertaining to the current situation for its beneficiary girls. A workshop on independent career skills was conducted by Mugdha. The girls learnt how to become self-reliant, self-sufficient financially and how to choose the right career and the path towards it.
They were also taught the art of etiquette e-mailing. They were taught the right ways to draft an email and what points they should focus on to make the email look professional and proper.
USF also conducted a workshop on suicide prevention awareness and the role of first responders. The girls were educated upon the causes of suicide, changes in behaviour and the feeling and how to act as the first responder so that maximum help can be given.
Lastly, the USF girls brought joy in peoples life in the joy of giving week.They were given an opportunity to reach out to less privileged kids with their acts and kind words. The Shalinis cooked fresh food for the children, made beautiful face masks, donated to the needy, educated neighbourhood children, and helped in spreading awareness by maintaining healthy and hygienic lifestyles during the pandemic.
