Aurangabad, May 9:

An online webinar on 'Covid - Misconceptions and Importance of Vaccination' was held on May 8 by Get Going Group. The vaccine prevents the corona patient from reaching a serious stage, said experts.

In the webinar, Dr Anand Nikalje informed that there is a need to avoid unnecessary tests, CT scans, and unnecessary medications, as well as not doing any tests without a doctor's prescription and taking self medication. Dr Ganesh Kulkarni informed about all the vaccines currently available. Dr Aparna Prabhu had participated in this webinar from London. She discussed the covid wave in Europe and the situation in India. She said that vaccination is one of the only option to get rid of covid. "All the vaccines available are effective, which greatly reduces the risk of becoming ill," she said, adding that there is a consensus among experts around the world.Dr Kumar Dussa had participated in this webinar from Mumbai. The webinar was organized by Dr Priya Deshmukh, Dr Niti Soni, Dr Charushali Deshmukh and Nirupama Nagori.
