Aurangabad, March 28:

The National Investigating Agency (NIA) found a vehicle registration number plate from the Mithi river at Mumbai during the investigation Antelia explosives case. Now, it has been learnt that the number plate found in the river belonged to Aurangabad city.

API, Sachin Vaze is in the custody of NIA on the charge of parking Scorpio Jeep with explosives. Today, the NIA team searched the Mithi River from where a number plate (MH 20 FP 1539) was found. It was found that this registration number is of the Maruti Eco Car owned by Vijay Madhukar Nade, a resident of Plot No. 12, Chhatrapatinagar in the city. Nade is a clerk at the Social Welfare Department at Jalna. When contacted him, he said that his car was stolen from Uddhavrao Patil Chowk on November 16, 2020. A case was registered at the City Chowk Police Station. The car was not found and the police submitted report in this regard in the court.
