Children at Podar Jumbo Kids Waluj, celebrated Virtual Gandhi Jayanti with the theme – “Mahatma, Lal Bahadur Shashtri and the Covid Warriors.”
Children and parents started the event with the Meditation and Bhajan – (Raghupati Raghav Rajaram ), visited Sabarmati Ashram virtually and organised a Puppet Show related to Swachh Bharat Sundar Bharat and craft activities like making spectacles, Gandhiji Stick, and hut. The children learnt about the principles of Satya and Ahinsa. They enjoyed the fun-filled activities with their parents and grandparents. Children shared their gratitude through their speech and song for our Bapuji, said principal Louis Rodrigues and headmistress Riya Kapoor. Teachers and administration officer Manish Dhekle took efforts for the programme.
