Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Leaders of Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)-Sharad Pawar Group and Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT)-Sena withdrew their nomination papers from Gangapur Assembly Constituency, on the last day of withdrawal nominations, paving the way for Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate Satish Chavan.
In this Constituency, the main fight will now be between Mahayuti candidate Prashant Bamb and MVA candidate Satish Chavan. It will be clear after the results that how much will be affected by the rebellion of BJP's Dr Suresh Sonawane. This will increase headache of Bamb.
Like in the 2019 elections, there will be a tough fight between NCP and BJP in Gangapur Constituency once again. Mahayuti candidate MLA Prashant Bamb is known for proper planning in the last phase of every election. But, this time around, he has a rival candidate for MVA in the form of Satish Chavan. Chavan has made strong preparations for this election.
It is being said that Chavan has also planned a subversive strategy to thwart Bamb's plan. So, who will win between these two big guns it will be clear after the results. Even though there will be a tough fight between Bamb and Chavan. Sonwane's candidacy may have an impact on the elections.
