Week-long Prog on ‘Career Opportunities in Zoology’ concludes

The week-long national student development programme on Career Opportunities in Zoology’ organised jointly by the Department of Zoology, Maulana Azad College, Environmental Research Foundation and Educational Academy and Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College of Life Sciences for Women (Nizamabad) concluded recently.

Around 560 persons participated in the programme which was aimed to provide a platform for students to learn about various career opportunities and research areas in zoology and allied fields.

Renowned experts from various fields delivered a series of lectures on various topics Sericulture, Apiculture, Ornithology, Aquaculture, Poultry farming, Dairy Farming, Pearl Culture and Vermicomposting.

They included Dr C J Hiware, Dr B BWaykar, Dr Dilip Yardi, Dr Pardeep Salve, Dr Ajit Khojre, Dr U A Manjaramkar,

An e-quiz was also conducted on the concluding day of the event to test the student's knowledge and understanding of the topics covered during the sessions.

Principal Dr Mazhar Farooqui, Principal Syeda Zainab (Telangana), and Dr Arif Pathan also graced the occasion. Dr Shaikh Tarannum, Head of the Department of Zoology J D Shaikh and Syed Ather Quadri were also present.
