Wife along with son arrested for murdering husband

Aurangabad, May 15:

A man in drunkard condition used to

beat his wife every day. Fed up of constant torture, the mother and son beat

him due to which he died. Later, they posed that he died in the inebriated condition

and performed last rites on him at Hussainpur in Karmad on Friday. When the

incident came to the fore, the Karmad police arrested the wife along with her

son for murdering husband.

Nagusingh Zendulal Naglot (45,

Hussainpur) died in the beating. He used to beat his wife in drunkard condition

every day. In resistance, his wife Bhagabai Nagusingh Naglot (40) and son Suraj

Nagusingh Naglot (19) beat him with a stick on Thursday night due to which he

died.

As no one was aware of the incident,

they posed that Nagusingh died in the inebriated condition and conducted the

last rites on him on Friday.

Meanwhile, the police received the information from the informers that

Nagusingh was severe beaten and hence his post mortem was not conducted. The

police arrested the mother – son due who confessed that he died as they beat

him. Under the guidance of PI Santosh Khettmalas, ASI Prashant Patil, constable

B P Holambe, Sunil Gore are further investigating the case. The court has

remanded both in the police custody for two days.
