Aurangabad, April 15:

A 25-year-old housewife, along with her two children, ended life by jumping into a well at Gevrai Tanda on Paithan Road Thursday. The incident came to light at 11 am today.

According to the preliminary report, the woman identified as Vaishali Thorat had differences with her husband Ravindra Thorat over a family matter.

Some villagers saw Vaishali with her two children Arohi (six) and Ayush (three), going towards the well. She was from Krantinagar and was living with her husband at Gevrai.

On receiving information, assistant police inspector Vishwas Patil from Chikalthana Police Station, along with police personnel, reached the spot.

The fire brigade personnel were also called. Fire brigade department officer Vijay Rathod and others fished out the bodies from the well.

Relatives of Vaishali started crying to see dead bodies of the trio taken out from the well.

The trio were shifted to Government Hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.

Ravindra Thorat has been at large after domestic differences with his wife. Police launched a search to trace Ravindra but could not trace him.

Police are trying to exact the cause of committing suicide, though preliminary probe indicates family differences.

A case of accidental death was registered with Chikalthana Police Station. Vishwas Patil said that further action would be taken on receiving a post-mortem report of the trio.
