Aurangabad, May 26:
A youth died on the spot after sustaining an electric shock from a live wire hanging inside the ongoing constructed property in Begumpura today morning.
The deceased have been identified as Abhijeet Kailas Sonawane (22, Jawrewada in Begumpura). Police said Abhijeet was watering the walls of the ongoing constructed house today at 10 am. He was unaware that a piece of live electric wire was hanging near the wall. Unknowingly he came in contact with the live electric wire and fell on the ground in an unconscious state after sustaining a shock. One goat in the house also sustained electric shock. Abhijeet and goat, both died on the spot. Begumpura police have registered an offence of accidental death. Head constable Rajkumar Jadhav is investigating the case.
