Aurangabad, July 18:

A 19 years old youth gone for swimming at Harsul Lake with friends met a watery grave on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Yash Dilip Nikalje (19, Bapunagar, Khokadpura).

Four youths from Khokadpura had gone to Harsul Lake for swimming. Yash was drowned in the lake at around 5.40 pm. The fire brigade squad including Mohan Mungse, Laxman Kolhe, Deepak Gadhekar, Ishaq Shaikh, Dinesh Mungse, Vijay Kothmire, Chagan Salambad, Tushar Taur, Shashikant Gite, Ashok Pote, Kailas Wani, Syed Saeed and others rushed to the spot at around 6.15 pm. They removed Yash from the lake after a strenuous efforts of around 45 minutes. The Harsul police took the body to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
