Youth stabbed over land dispute

Some miscreants
illegally grabbed a plot and encroached on it. When the plot owner opposed it
and started construction on the plot at Vijaynagar. The miscreants severely
beat the plot owner and his relatives. In this strife, an engineer youth was stabbed
by the attackers on Saturday afternoon. The injured youth was immediately rushed
to a private hospital. The Pundliknagar police have arrested a suspect in this case.
The engineer
youth Rishikesh Bhaskar More (23, Balkrishnanagar, Garkheda area). His father
Bhaskar Sakharam More has purchased a plot at Vijaynagar, one and a half months
back. The More family was constructing a shop on this plot. On Saturday at
around 1.30 pm, Rahul Narwade came there with around 10-12 men and women and
tried to encroached the plot with iron sheets. When the owner, More, former
corporator Jyoti More, Rajaram More, Rishikesh and Mahesh came to know about
it, they went there. They asked them to remove the sheets, but one of them
attacked Rishikesh with a knife.
Meanwhile, DCP
Deepak Girhe, ACP Nishkant Bhujbal, API Ghansham Sonawane, PSI Santosh Ghodk
and others rushed to the spot.
