ZP president disappointed over inauguration of COVID vaccination before her arrival
Aurangabad, Jan 29:
The Zilla Parishad (ZP) president Meena Shelke today got disappointed after the Covid-19 vaccination, organised at the rural hospital in Karmad, was inaugurated by the MLA Haribhau Bagade, before her arrival. She arrived after the drive started by administering the vaccine to Dr Prashant Date. Meanwhile, the president hinted at demanding action against officials for violating the protocol.
It so happened that the hospital administration as per protocol sent invitations to Shelke, Bagade and other important persons. Accordingly, Bagade arrived at 9.30 am, and Shelke reached 20 minutes later. She was surprised as the vaccination drive had got started before her arrival. Shelke got angry and stressed on the need of waiting for her. The disappointed president then informed that she will be complaining against Karmad's medical officer and his team and recommends action as per norms.
" We were busy in preparations for the drive for the past two days. We had also written a letter inviting the president and the MLA. Accordingly, Bagade reached the place at 9.30 am as he had other engagements also. Besides, we were unaware of the arrival of ZP president. She arrived after the drive got started with the administration of the vaccine to Dr Date," said the medical superintendent (rural hospital, Karmad) Dr Aparna Ranjalkar.
