Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj bowled out former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma in the Indian Premier League 2025 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday. The dismissal came after Rohit hit Siraj for back-to-back boundaries in the first over. Siraj opened the bowling for Gujarat and started with a dot ball. Rohit responded with two boundaries in a row and put early pressure on the pacer. Siraj made a strong comeback on the next delivery with a sharp ball that skidded off the surface and crashed into the stumps. The ball went through Rohit's defense and knocked the bails off. The former Mumbai captain was dismissed for 8 off 4 balls. After taking the key wicket, Siraj celebrated with a ‘Don’t worry, I’m here’ gesture, made popular by Mumbai Indians’ batter Suryakumar Yadav. The Ahmedabad crowd erupted in cheers as the Gujarat pacer struck in the first over.
