Indian cricketer Amit Mishra has been accused of harassing his wife Garima Mishra. She recently met with the police commissioner and alleged that Amit had illicit relations with other women and that her in-laws were torturing her for dowry. However, Amit Mishra denied the allegations, calling them baseless. The police commissioner has ordered an investigation into the matter.
Amit Mishra has represented India in all three formats of the game and is regarded as one of the most successful bowlers in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Recently, his wife Garima met with the police commissioner to accuse her in-laws of harassing her for a Honda City car and 10 lakh rupees. She also claimed that Amit Mishra had multiple extramarital affairs.

Amit and Garima got married on April 26, 2021. Currently, Amit is not active in cricket and works at a Reserve Bank branch in Kanpur. Against this backdrop, Garima has leveled serious accusations against her husband. She alleged that Amit had physically assaulted her on multiple occasions. She also claimed that in December of last year, when she confronted him about his extramarital affairs, he kicked her out of their home. Garima is currently staying at her parental home.
In response to the allegations, Amit Mishra dismissed all accusations. He countered that it was his wife who once had an argument with him outside a bank office.
Amit Mishra made his debut for India in One-Day Internationals in 2003 and in Test cricket in 2008. He got the opportunity to play T20 internationals in 2010. Over his career, Mishra has taken 76 wickets in 22 Test matches, 64 wickets in 36 One-Day Internationals, and 16 wickets in 10 T20 matches. In the IPL, he has played 162 matches, taking 174 wickets.
