Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, is set to make his comeback for Goa in the Ranji Trophy plate group final against Nagaland. The match will be played from January 23 to 27 in Dimapur.
Arjun, an all-rounder, was dropped by Goa during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, he remains their third-highest wicket-taker this Ranji season, with 16 wickets in four matches. A strong performance in the final could see him cross the 20-wicket mark.
The 25-year-old moved to Goa ahead of the 2022-23 season and made a memorable Ranji Trophy debut with a century against Rajasthan. In first-class cricket, he has played 17 matches, taking 37 wickets. Arjun also has 52 wickets in white-ball cricket across 18 List A and 24 T20 matches.
