Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty praised her husband, Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul, after his match-winning performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League on Thursday at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Rahul guided Delhi Capitals to a six-wicket victory with an unbeaten 93 off 53 deliveries. His innings, which included seven fours and six sixes, helped Delhi recover from a shaky start in their chase of RCB’s 163-run total. Following the match, Shetty shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. Posting a picture of Rahul, she wrote, “This guy! Ufff.” Her post quickly gained attention from fans, who flooded social media with reactions celebrating the couple’s bond.

Rahul acknowledged that the pitch was tricky but said his experience at the venue helped him adapt. “It was a slightly tricky wicket but watching the game from behind the stumps for 20 overs helped. The ball sat in the wicket, but it was consistent. I knew what my shots were and wanted to get a good start before assessing the conditions,” Rahul said.

Tristan Stubbs played a supporting role with an unbeaten 38 off 23 deliveries. Speaking after the match, Stubbs praised Rahul’s innings, saying he did not have to do much. “It was really satisfying. It came in a tricky situation, but the run rate never got out of hand,” Stubbs said. “To be honest, I didn’t have to do much with the way KL batted.”

Delhi Capitals are currently in second place on the points table with eight points from four matches. They have secured four consecutive victories and will take on Mumbai Indians in their next match on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
